Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil

Where I got it: I was sent this as a pr sample. You could purchase Weleda products on their website, health stores and leading pharmacies for $34.90.

What I got: This is a 100ml bottle of Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil. It’s a dermatologically proven treatment that nourishes your skin with pure natural and organic plant extracts to smooth, tone and support your skin’s overall health. A potent extract of organic birch leaves, known for its purifying and detoxifying effects, promotes radiant skin with noticeably improved texture and smoothness. Dermatological tests show a 21% increase in smoothness and a 22% increase in tightness after just one month of twice a day regular use. Apricot kernel oil, skin-friendly organic jojoba seed oil and vitamin-rich wheat germ oil nourish your skin, balance essential moisture and enliven your appearance. Clinical trials conducted by a team of independent dermatologists using volunteers, has proven that Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil notably works to improve and increase the smoothness of skin by 21%, elasticity by 20% and firmness by 35%, all in just 28 days of regular application!

How I find it: Be careful when the bottle pours out the product because it will flow out easily. The oil has a medium fluid consistency and pours out a little green/yellow. The consistency is not thick, I like to spread it between my palms and then apply to my problem areas after a shower while the skin is still damp (thighs, buttocks and arms) with circular and upward motions. With a bit of massaging, the oil is absorbed nicely with a hint of oil on the skin to make your skin looking naturally glowing. For best results, apply twice daily for a month to see results!

Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil texture

Overall: I love the smell and the texture of the oil. Even if it doesn’t treat cellulite, I would say it moisturises my skin very well! I would prefer it in a form of a pump bottle for anything that comes in an oil form for the body. Twisting open a bottle cap when you have greasy hands can be a mission and with pouring of the oil, it can be hard to control how much comes out. The oil moisturises my skin for a long time and it can even be used on areas where cellulite is not an issue.
