What I got: This is the L’Oreal Nude Magique Blur Cream in light to medium (also comes in medium to dark). This is designed to be used with the L’Oreal Nude Magique liquid powder foundation and a primer. This could also be used with other foundations or even by itself. It has a blurring effect which seems to be the most popular trend for cosmetics right now! L’Oréal Paris extends its Nude Magique franchise once again, with the launch of Nude Magique Blur cream. As a new generation of hybrid products between make-up and skincare, it is the perfect weapon for perfect pore-less skin and a perfected nude look. Nude Magique Blur cream creates a stunning complexion and evens out skin tone, whilst correcting imperfections on the skin’s surface. The “Blurring” agents, combined with micro-pigments, correct imperfections on the skin’s surface as they even out and correct irregularities in skin tone. The Blur technology acts by correcting tiny variations in the skin’s texture. The correcting fillers accumulate in depressions along the skin’s surface, thereby making it appear smoother. This technology uses the ‘soft focus’ effect that is based on the fillers’ capacity to diffuse light. Nude Magique Blur cream produces a perfect smoothing effect on the skin.

How I find it: This blur cream goes on smoothly with the silicon ingredient, it smooths out my pore slightly and I don’t have any lines to blur yet. The light shade that I had suits me perfectly but because the color is so sheer, I don’t think it really matters if I use medium, it would still be good. After the primer, I used the liquid powder foundation by L’Oreal (I got mine from eBay so it is called a Magic Nude instead). I like to use my fingertips and it glides on soooo smoothly it feels amazing and looks amazing! I am already a fan of the foundation, now with the primer it’s perfection! I then lightly powder my face with the BB Powder also by L’Oreal to finish the look.

Overall: This is very similar to Benefit’s Porefessional in terms if texture, shade and effects. The bottle however feels like it is only half full and everytime I squeeze the tube, the product either bursts out or I have to shake the tube to get the product to the tip. I don’t think I can wear this alone because it is too sheer, doesn’t cover any imperfections, just pores. Nonetheless, this works perfectly under my nude magic liquid powder foundation to create a smooth canvas and to make the foundation last longer! I love it!
