Billie Goat Soap and Billie Baby

How I find it:

Billie Goat Soap $11.95: This is the famous soap that started it all! The Plain Goat Soap is made from fresh goat’s milk, using milk from Australian herd of dairy goats. This soap is particularly popular with people who have delicate and sensitive skin. The nourishing properties of goat’s milk contained in the soap, aids in alleviating discomfort from skin irritations and conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. I love how they have mould the top of the soap in the shape of a goat. This soap will last for a long time and you need to make sure you keep it in a soap box or dish away from direct water as it will melt and get washed away! I love how it contains goats milk.

Billie Baby 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner $17.95: This 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner is extra mild and contains no artificial colouring and synthetic fragrances. This contains argan oil, vitamin C, B1, B12 and E. The formula is really gentle and does not make my hair really dry afterwards. The shampoo is surprisingly clear in colour which I thought was surprising because the ingredients states it contains goats milk. I really did not need an extra conditioner (I have oily roots and dry ends).

Billie Goat Soap Moisturiser 100ml $29.95: Billie Goat’s famous Australian goat’s milk recipe contains all the benefits of goat’s milk combined with a range of natural ingredients, many of which are certified organic. It feels creamy when first applied, but does not leave a heavy, slippery residue, and is so mild you can use it all over your body, including your face. The 100ml tube is very long lasting and contains a range of quality oils to help soothe the skin. It does not contain any colour or fragrances. The moisturiser is off white in color and smells like rosemary. It is easily spread around the body and really helps moisturise my skin.

Billie Baby Moisturiser 100ml $19.50:  Billie Baby Moisturiser has been specially formulated for little ones, and can even be used on new born babies. Billie Baby’s famous Australian goat’s milk recipe contains all the benefits of goat’s milk combined with a range of natural ingredients, many of which are certified organic. It feels creamy when first applied, but does not leave a heavy, slippery residue, and is so mild you can use it all over the body, including the face. The 100ml tube is very long lasting and contains a range of quality oils to help soothe the skin. It does not contain any colour or fragrances. This moisturiser is creamy and is off-white in colour and very similar to the Billie Goat Soap Moisturiser above, only more mild. If doesn’t have the rosemary extract so it doesn’t smell like rosemary. The texture is also somewhat different to the Billie Goat Soap Mosituriser – this is more fluid. If this is good enough for my baby, this is good enough for me!

Overall: I really love how these products contain goats milk. I have always thought milk is a very good natural moisturiser and I have always wanted to bathe in milk. The creams feel really good on the skin and it never leaves your skin with a sticky film. However, the rosemary scent wouldn’t be my favourite smell – it is kind of weird to feel like I’m rubbing myself with rosemary. If you are looking for skincare for your baby or yourself, you should give these a try!
