What I got: This is an Organic muslin face cloth from Pai Skincare. This is a double layer face cloth made with 100% organic cotton. It is slightly yellow tinted because it has not been bleached and the texture is a little rough for exfoliation.
How I find it: I use this a number of ways:
- When I am wearing very light makeup, I wash my face with cleanser and before I wash it off, I get this muslin cloth wet and wipe the cleanser off my face. This way, it will help my cleanser remove any makeup or residue. This is my favourite way of using this cloth
- When I am wearing heavier makeup, I use a cleansing oil (Fancl at the moment), then rinse off and use my usual cleanser. Wash that off and use wet the muslin cloth and lightly massage my face as an extra exfoliation step. I would concentrate around my nose and my jaw line area. Do remember to be gentle because the cloth can be rather rough on the skin.
- When I just don’t fee like using the muslin cloth wet, I just wash my face as normal, splash off the cleanser and use the mulin cloth to pat dry my face. It does take a while to absorb the water because I do notice that the cloth needs to be a little moist to absorb more moisture.
Overall: I love using this organic muslin cloth even though it is a little rough and if I use it too hard it will make my face red, but I do believe that it will soften up with each use. The weaving of this cloth is quite loose therefore you can see if you have residue mascara and you wipe it off with this cloth, it will get stuck. But overall, I love how it can exfoliate while drying my skin.
