How I find it: After a shower, I towel dry my hair and apply the treatment close to the root area. I then massage into the scalp for one minute and blow dry my hair as usual. It doesn’t interfere with my styling products and doesn’t add weight to my hair.  The interesting thing about this treatment is, I expected this to be more of a serum with a pump, but when I saw the spray pump, I thought it would work better with a more liquid texture. However, the spray pump dispenses more a like a squirt of this serum right down to the roots which is quite smart because the treatment works at the roots, not the mid lengths, not the ends.

Overall: I like the fresh minty scent and how it doesn’t weight my hair down or make it greasy of sticky. Some hair thickening treatments do have a little hold factor and tends to make my hair crackly, but Diaboost did not. The serum like texture in the bottle could make you expect a thick texture that will make your hair greasy, but it doesn’t do that at all. When massaging the treatment into the scalp, the texture feels like a fresh gel instead that is absorbed quickly, therefore you are not left with a very damp scalp.
