Weleda Skinfood Moisturiser

Where I got it: I was sent this for review, but you can find this from most pharmacies, good health stores and online for $21.90.

What I got: This is a 75ml tube of Weleda Skinfood Moisturiser. The unique formulation combines 100% natural skin-renewing ingredients that have been designed specifically to instantly soothe, restore and protect all skin types with deep nourishment and intensive hydration. Key ingredients include extracts of organic chamomile, calendula and wild pansy to soothe rough skin, while rosemary revitalises and boosts dull complexions. Sunflower, lanolin and sweet almond oils and waxes provide skin with a fine protective barrier against air-conditioning, wind and weather.

Top 10 uses of Weleda Skin Food: 1. Rescue remedy for dull, tired and under-nourished skin. 2. Great for stubborn dry skin patches on elbows and knees. 3. Ultra-rich hydrating hand cream. 4. Nail and cuticle treatment. 5. Nutritive support for dry and damaged heels and feet. 6. Barrier cream for outdoor activities. 7. Healing cream for chapped noses. 8. Protecting and nourishing lip balm. 9. Travel essential. 10. Soften and soothes slow healing scars.

How I find it: While I was I Japan, the temperature was rather cold and dry. I was wearing leggings and sneakers the entire way, therefore my ankles were partly exposed. After the trip, the skin around my ankles were really dry and chapped. So I applied this cream to the area for about 3 days after showering and the skin is so much better! It keeps my skin moisturized and soft, not tight and dry.

Overall: This cream is really intensive and I love using this on my ankles, elbow, hands and knees where it is prone to get dry easily during dry season and winter. The cream may be thick, but it is not greasy and absorbed nicely. The scent is a light fresh scent that fades gradually. The only thing would be that the cream is a little hard to spread, therefore as a body moisturiser it will run out quite fast.
